Dr. Mary “Meg” Beattie

About Dr. Beattie

Dr. Mary “Meg” Beattie was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio, where she realized her dream of being a dentist when she was just 12 years old. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry. Before attending dental school, Dr. Beattie earned her BS in biological sciences from Ohio University in Athens, Ohio. Dr. Beattie completed a clerkship in the Special Care and Geriatrics clinic during her fourth year of dental school and was recognized with the Special Care Dentistry Association Award.

Dr. Beattie aspires to make every patient feel comfortable and trusting of the dental office. She aims to help her patients attain their dental goals with quality treatment while treating them like friends. Dr. Beattie is excited to share her passion for dentistry and people with the community of southern Maryland.

Outside the Dental Office

In her free time, Dr. Beattie can be found with her friends enjoying the sunshine on the boat or at the beach. She’s an avid Taylor Swift fan and reader. She enjoys spending time with her adorable golden retriever and her two crazy orange cats.
